Dr. Craig O’Connell
Executive Director

Dr. Craig I received my Ph.D. in Marine Science and Technology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where I now serve as adjunct faculty. I am an award-winning filmmaker through my production company – Updog Productions, LLC., a host for Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, and a published author, photographer, and cinematographer.

Beyond that, I have numerous patented inventions that aim to solve complex global wildlife conflict issues and am constantly innovating to find new ways to both view and save wildlife. Some of these inventions have won international conservation awards, such as the Lewis Foundation Green Economy Award.
